Erosion Control Products are divided into two main categories: hydraulically applied with a HydroSeeder or Rolled Erosion Control Product (RECP). Hydraulically applied erosion control products have special cross-linking bonding agents that when dried create a matrix over the soil, drastically reducing soil loss and aiding seed in germination. These products can be applied in one or two steps. Rolled Erosion Control Products can be made of a variety of natural or synthetic fibers; they are unrolled and staked to the soil. RECPs can be used on slopes or waterways. Erosion Control Products are used for slopes up to 0.5:1. Erosion Control Products have 100% soil coverage, resulting in greater protection from wind and water erosion with significantly reduced soil runoff.

Now also available are Stenlogs (straw wattles) that can be used as Slope Interruption Devices (SIDs) in ditches or in place of Silt Fence.
